We are a praying church having seen many amazing answers from God. We love our community and pray regularly for it. If you need prayer we are available for you.
We have vibrant fellowship with a community cafe and regular meals together.
We are part of 'Hetton Churches Together' making a difference in the lives of the people of Easington Lane and Hetton with a food bank and 'Place of Welcome' community cafe

To be a community to belong to. Where the love of Jesus is seen and know in people's lives. Where your relationship with God can grow through worship, teaching and serving.
We are an active church within the community of Easington Lane. Our services are bright and lively with uplifting worship. Preaching and teaching is relevant and challenging.
OUR COMMUNITY
Our church is made up of ordinary local people from many different backgrounds who have experienced the reality of God's love. Our aim is to provide a community of welcome and belonging.
FIND YOUR FAITH
Jesus said "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of The Lord's favour" Luke 4 v 18, 19.
Jesus came on a rescue mission to heal lives and save people from the tyranny of sin. Jesus, The Son of God, gave His life to pay the price for our sin by dying on a cross. On the third day after Jesus died God raised Him from the dead. After this Jesus ascended into heaven and sent The Holy Spirit to fill His followers. Through His Holy Spirit He continues to forgive sins and heal lives. You can have a relationship with your Heavenly Father and know His forgiveness and the depth of His love for you.

What do I have to do to come into a relationship with God?
We get to know God by putting our faith in Him and what He has done for us. If you believe in your heart you can begin by saying this prayer. "Father God I thank you for your amazing love for me. I acknowledge I am a sinner, I need your grace and forgiveness. Lord Jesus Christ I believe you died on the cross for my sins. I believe you rose from dead on the third day to give me life. I invite you my heart and be the Lord of my life. I thank you I now have new life in you, fill me with your Holy Spirit. Amen"
If you have prayed this prayer you are now forgiven. You have been born again and adopted into God's family. You have passed from death into life, from darkness into light.
What do I do now? This is the beginning of your new life in Christ. It is important you meet with other believers. You would be very welcome at Easington Lane Apostolic church where you can share your new found faith and grow together with other believers.
